About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our online store and the purchase of products from Shavien. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. These terms were last updated: October 2023.

Our Products

We strive to describe our products as accurately as possible. However, please note that images are for illustrative purposes only and minor variations may occur. We encourage you to review product descriptions carefully before making a purchase.

Placing an Order

To place an order, browse our products, add your selections to the cart, and proceed to checkout. Your order represents an offer to purchase our products. We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending a dispatch confirmation email. Until acceptance, we reserve the right to decline or cancel your order.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Prices do not include applicable taxes. GST, HST, PST, and/or QST will be calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is taken at the time of order.

Delivery

For information on delivery times and processing, please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. If no delivery date is specified, we aim to deliver within 30 days as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Your Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)

Defective Goods

Under provincial Sale of Goods Acts, our products come with implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose, which cannot be excluded by contract under Canadian law. If you receive defective goods, you have the right to return, repair, replacement, or refund.

Our Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the products you ordered, except as required by law.

Marketing and Communications

We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Marketing emails require your express consent. Each email will identify the sender and include an unsubscribe mechanism and our postal address. Consent checkboxes will never be pre-checked.
